Tournament Format: Single Elimination Bracket
Games Per Match: Best of 1, Best of 3 Grand Finals
Team Seeding: Random
Prizepool: $150-$240 AUD (Prizepool will scale to reflect the amount of teams participating)
Entry Fee: FREE!
Minimum Teams: 10
Maximum Teams: 16

EVENT RULES:

1. Game Format
1.1 Location: Australia.
1. 2 Game Mode: Captains Mode
1.3 Password: Please refer to Admin for lobby password.
1.4 Lobby Visibility: Public
1.5 Selection priority: Automatic
1.6 Penalty: 
Radiant: No Penalty
Dire: No Penalty
1.7 League: None
1.8 Spectators: Enabled
1.9 Dota TV Delay: 2 Minutes
2.0 Pausing: Unlimited

2. Roster
2.1. Teams must be checked-in 30 mins prior to the event, check in via Valora Gaming Events discord.
2.2 Servers - This tournament is Australian and New Zealand only. Servers will be available at the tournaments scheduled start time.
2.3 Spectators - The only spectators that are allowed to be in a match are the Admins and casters. Please inform Admin if someone is not filling one of the roles before starting.
2.3 Rosters will be locked 3 hours before the event start time.
2.4 Throughout the tournament, all players must be visible within the Valora Gaming Events discord in their team channel.
2.5 A team may field a roster of 5 with 2 additional substitutes.
2.6 A substitute may only play for one team.

3. Payment
3.1 Prize money will be paid out in Australian currency via paypal.

4. Pausing
4.1 Each team gets a maximum pause time of 15 mins.
4.2 If a team's pause time has been used up the match will resume.
4.3 All pauses will be monitored, strategic pauses are not allowed.

5. Check-In
5.1 Teams must be checked-in 30 mins prior to the event, check in via Valora Gaming Events discord.
5.2 Teams must be in discord and ready to play 15 mins before their scheduled match.

6. Penalties
6.1 Sportsmanship - A warning will be applied to players that troll, flame, belittle or abuse others. A second warning will result in immediate disqualification. Further misconduct will result in a permanent ban from all future events. 
6.2 Glitches/Bugs/Cheats - Any team found abusing in-game glitches or bugs will be disqualified from the tournament. Teams found cheating will be permanently banned from all future events.
